DYK that most NJ workers are covered to take leave from their jobs to care for themselves or a loved one?

NJ Paid Family and Medical Leave provides cash benefits when you can't work due to certain circumstances. Your job may be protected while you receive cash benefits under separate state and federal laws.

-To care for your own or a loved one's physical or mental health (including COVID-19)

-To care for yourself during pregnancy and childbirth recovery

-To bond with a new child

-To cope with domestic or sexual violence

You can receive 85% of your average weekly wages, up to $993 per week (2022).
