Maywood Campus teacher Ms. Karen Oliveras organized a fantastic walking trip for her students last week to the Maywood Library. Her students explored the bookshelves, listened to stories, and generalized skills in a new setting.
SBJC believes strongly in the importance of getting our students out of their seats to take walks, and for the past two years we’ve made it a goal for all of our classrooms to spend ten minutes each day outdoors walking in the communities around our schools.
