On Tuesday, March 4, former St. Mary High School standout Vin Vargas’ current college team, the Caldwell Cougars, lost 9-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Molloy Lions.

The game took place at Mitchel Field Athletic Complex. This was their first matchup against the Lions this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, March 5 at 2 p.m. at Kiwanis Oval against Queens Knights.
