On Friday, April 18, former Rutherford High School standout Alex Gomez’s current college team, the Old Dominion Monarchs, won 6-5 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

The game took place at Bud Metheny Ballpark. This was their second matchup against the Ragin’ Cajuns this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at Bud Metheny Ballpark against Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.
