The New York Giants have kicked off their 2025 training camp at the Quest Diagnostics Training Center. The team is providing live updates on practice sessions, roster changes, and player performances.
On Thursday, July 24, the Giants held their second practice session. A day earlier, wide receiver Malik Nabers participated in his first live practice with quarterback Russell Wilson. Nabers had missed spring practices due to a toe issue but was ready for training camp. “I got a good few throws from Russ,” Nabers commented after practice.
Defensive lineman Dexter Lawrence returned to action after recovering from an elbow injury. He shared that he felt solid during Day 1 of camp and emphasized the need for the defense to prove themselves despite high expectations.
General Manager Joe Schoen and Head Coach Brian Daboll addressed the media before the start of camp. Schoen provided an update on left tackle Andrew Thomas, who is on the physically unable to perform (PUP) list but is expected to be ready for the season opener against Washington on September 7.
Running back Cam Skattebo and defensive lineman Darius Alexander are fully participating in training camp after missing time in spring sessions.
On Tuesday, July 22, several roster moves were announced by the Giants. Alongside Thomas, running back Eric Gray was placed on the PUP list due to a knee injury. Outside linebacker Victor Dimukeje was declared non-football injury (NFI) with a pectoral injury. Safety Anthony Johnson Jr. was waived/injured with a shoulder issue.
The Giants signed veteran safety K’Von Wallace following his tryout during minicamp in June. Wallace has played with several teams including Philadelphia Eagles and Seattle Seahawks throughout his career.
