On Saturday, Feb. 1, former Hackensack High School standout Gene Ligon Jr.’s current college team, the Virginia State Trojans, lost 11-0 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Clark Atlanta Panthers.

The game took place at Gresham Park. This was their second matchup against the Panthers this season.

The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 12 p.m. at Gresham Park against Clark Atlanta Panthers.
