The New York Giants continued their training camp with a third consecutive day of practice. The session, held under bright sunny skies and temperatures reaching the mid-90s, saw the team practicing in shells for the first time this season. They plan to practice in full pads on Monday afternoon.

The practice featured a focus on short passes, including quick throws to wide receivers and screen passes. For the first time, the team worked outside of the red zone, attempting a few deep passes.

Russell Wilson connected with Malik Nabers on his initial two throws during 7-on-7 drills. The second throw resulted in an explosive play after Nabers briefly bobbled but secured a deep in-cut pass. Wilson frequently targeted Nabers as they developed chemistry following Nabers’ absence from spring drills.

Wilson later delivered a deep ball down the right sideline to Nabers for a significant play. Despite Paulson Adebo’s close coverage, Nabers scored a touchdown over 50 yards after Adebo lost his footing.

Tommy DeVito made a precise throw to Beaux Collins on a crossing pattern during 7-on-7 drills. Jameis Winston ended the period with an accurate pass over undrafted free agent Jordan Bly’s shoulder for a substantial gain.

Defensively, Deonte Banks maintained tight coverage, breaking up a deep pass intended for Darius Slayton. Tyler Nubin also knocked away a pass to Malik Nabers from his safety position. Korie Black and Dru Phillips forced incompletions with effective coverage.

Dane Belton and Tomon Fox reached the backfield for potential sacks while Abdul Carter applied pressure on the edge. Chauncey Gholston pressured the quarterback during a pass rush, and Kayvon Thibodeaux had both a tackle for loss and sack against Jameis Winston.

The practice concluded with two competitive “move-the-ball” periods. The first-team offense advanced near the red zone but was stopped by Dru Phillips’ pass break-up. Jameis Winston led another drive downfield with quick passes before Cam Skattebo caught one and set up blockers effectively on a screen play. Jaxson Dart finished this drive with a touchdown pass to Skattebo near the right sideline.

A moment of concern arose when Brian Burns collided with Wan’Dale Robinson after chasing tight end Greg Dulcich following a completion downfield. Both players eventually walked off the field without assistance.
