The New York Giants held their third consecutive practice, marking the second straight day in full pads under high temperatures reaching the mid to upper 90s.

During the first competitive period, the offensive and defensive lines faced off in one-on-one drills. After a strong performance from the offensive line on day one, the defensive line responded with several wins. Brian Burns demonstrated his skills with an inside spin move and two speed rushes against Jermaine Eluemunor. Eluemunor, who has performed well throughout camp, also stopped Abdul Carter later in the drill.

Josh Ezeudu continued to show promise at both guard and tackle positions but was beaten by Burns on an inside move during his last rep of the period. John Michael Schmitz maintained his consistency in preventing defenders from pushing him into the backfield or getting around him, except for a notable rush by Rakeem Nunez-Roches.

Evan Neal effectively used his size and strength to hold off Elijah Chatman’s attempts to leverage power moves toward the quarterback. Abdul Carter challenged Neal multiple times from defensive tackle, showcasing strength and quickness with two aggressive pass rush moves. James Hudson also had solid reps, notably slowing down Carter on one occasion.

Head coach Brian Daboll commented before practice that Darius Alexander has shown an ability to win pass-rush situations inside. D.J. Davidson managed two successful rushes but suffered an injury later in practice. Kayvon Thibodeaux displayed both power and agility during his matchups against James Hudson and Marcus Mbow.

In passing drills, Jaxson Dart connected with Montrell Washington for two deep touchdowns, including a precise throw at the pylon.

Team drills emphasized running plays focused on early downs and red zone scenarios. Tyrone Tracy broke through for significant gains twice; however, overall defensive play limited running room for Giants backs. Elijah Chatman took some snaps at fullback.

Several defenders made notable stops during interior runs, including Abdul Carter, Elijah Garcia, K’Von Wallace, and Darius Muasau—the latter also deflecting a downfield pass to prevent a big gain. Bobby Okereke intercepted a pass by positioning himself underneath it on his birthday. Deonte Banks and Korie Black each contributed pass deflections as well.

Quarterback Russell Wilson executed effective ball handling on play action before finding Daniel Bellinger wide open for a touchdown. Wilson concluded practice by delivering a precise throw to Darius Slayton across the end zone despite tight coverage from Dru Phillips.

Tommy DeVito completed a challenging sideline touchdown pass to Dalen Cambre; Cambre secured possession before losing control due to late contact from a defender after completing the catch.
