The New York Giants have announced an extended partnership with NBC 4 New York/WNBC and Telemundo 47/WNJU, which will include the first Spanish-language broadcast of the annual “MetLife Bowl” preseason game against the Jets. This event is scheduled for August 16 at MetLife Stadium. The broadcast will be available on Telemundo 47’s platforms and feature announcers Miguel Gurwitz and Rolando Cantú.

Cristina Schwarz, President and General Manager of Telemundo 47/WNJU, stated, “This is a milestone moment. We are thrilled to bring the Giants-Jets preseason game to Telemundo 47 viewers for the first time, all in the language they prefer and on the platforms they know and trust.”

The partnership includes two preseason games presented by Cadillac. The schedule features a game against the Buffalo Bills on August 9 at Highmark Stadium, exclusively on WNBC, and a game against the New York Jets on August 16 at MetLife Stadium available on both WNBC and WNJU.

WNBC broadcasts will include Bob Papa as well as analysts Carl Banks, Phil Simms, Howard Cross, and sports anchor Bruce Beck. During the Spanish-language broadcast on August 16, Veronica Contreras from Telemundo Deportes/UNIVERSO will join Gurwitz and Cantú.

Nilay Shah from the New York Giants expressed pride in extending their partnership with NBC 4 New York: “Adding our first-ever Spanish speaking preseason broadcast on Telemundo 47 will continue our commitment to create new platforms and opportunities for our fans.”

Eric Lerner of NBC 4 New York/WNBC said they look forward to offering exclusive content: “We cannot wait to bring Big Blue fans original, behind-the-scenes programming.”

The partnership also continues their program “All-Access: Giants Training Camp,” featuring exclusive content hosted by Bob Papa with insights from Shaun O’Hara and Phil Simms.

Big Blue fans can access this content through NBC 4 New York/WNBC channels or digital platforms such as nbcnewyork.com or telemundo47.com.
