On Friday, Feb. 7, former Hackensack High School standout Gene Ligon Jr.’s current college team, the Virginia State Trojans, lost 9-2 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Lock Haven Bald Eagles.

The game took place at Whaley Colbert Field. This was their second matchup against the Bald Eagles this season.

The Trojans’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 9 at 12 p.m. at Whaley Colbert Field against Lock Haven Bald Eagles.
