The Borough of Edgewater announced on April 1 that municipal offices and the Senior Center will be closed in observance of Good Friday, which falls on April 3. The announcement also outlines adjustments to various public services during the holiday period.

The closure affects only certain borough facilities, while essential services will continue as usual. This information is important for residents planning visits to local government offices or the Senior Center during the holiday.

According to the borough’s statement, regular trash collection and ferry service will proceed without interruption on Good Friday. Co-mingled recycling collection for both the south side and town-wide areas is also scheduled as normal.

Additionally, white goods and electronics collection will take place a day earlier than usual, occurring on Thursday, April 2. The Community Center is set to remain open throughout the holiday period.

Residents are encouraged to adjust their plans according to these schedule changes.
