On Saturday, April 19, former Rutherford High School standout Alex Gomez’s current college team, the Old Dominion Monarchs, lost 10-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Louisiana Ragin’ Cajuns.

The game took place at Bud Metheny Ballpark. This was their third matchup against the Ragin’ Cajuns this season.

The Monarchs’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 25 at 6 p.m. at Lou St. Amant Field against Louisiana-Monroe Warhawks.
