There was a single gas station in cities across Bergen County selling E85 gas at the lowest price of $3.49 per gallon in the week ending Oct. 19, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.com.

The average reported cost of E85 gas in cities within Bergen County was $3.69 per gallon.

Of the 352 reported gas stations in cities within Bergen County, three offer E85 gas.

The average reported price of E85 gas in New Jersey was $3.60, compared to $3.79 the week before.

Gas prices in the U.S. have fluctuated greatly in recent times and many drivers are feeling the pain at the pump.

The cost of rising gas prices is made tougher on average U.S. families by rising inflation. Families had to pay nearly 8% more for average goods and food they needed.

Experts predict gasoline prices could drop below $3 this year before rebounding closer to $4 by year’s end. GasBuddy forecasted a national average of $3.38 per gallon, down from $3.51.
